Omar-Clark-Dr. Omar Clark Fisher, a leading expert on building businesses, Islamic finance and risk management through Takaful insurance, heads the Khidr Solutions management and advisory team. Dr. Fisher holds a PhD (in Management Science: Takaful) jointly from Malaysia’s Asian School of Management and Camden University of USA, MBA from HULT International Business School/USA (formerly ADLittle School of Management), Masters in Education from University of Dublin/Ireland and BA from Yale University (USA).

Clark-WClark W. Fisher, III, management consultant and economic analyst at Price Waterhouse. Clark built 5 year model for an investment bank in Bahrain to forecast the bank’s four primary revenue channels and financial statements. Worked with senior bank officers to formalize revenue assumptions and built into the model a scenario analysis. Presented and successfully handed off working model to investment bank executives.

Clark graduated from George Washington University, Washington DC. with a BA and specialization in finance.

  • Partnered with inter-company support unit and updated scorecard to perform monthly variance analysis. Presented commentary on financial performance and recommendations to executive partner.
  • Designed and implemented department-wide dashboards for executive partner to track resource utilization and revenue generation on a weekly basis.
  • Worked on a team of four and developed 4 of 10 governance deliverables for the Gulf Monetary Council. Ensured the deliverables met the client requirements and dealt with tight deadlines to prepare the deliverables for Board meetings.
  • Reviewed a model focused on projecting the financial requirements for a new government program in Qatar to assess the amount of corporate levy required for funding the project.

Khidr has close working relations with a range of partners; including: Big Four accounting and audit firms, international and local banks, insurance brokers and insurers, HR training, business development and strategy experts in UAE and across GCC region.

Khidr is a senior resource on SMEs to the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development, to Dubai Chamber of Commerce and a Mentor to Dubai Silicon Oasis Incubator as well as at Impact Hub Dubai.
